Believe me, all or most of these apply to people in their 40s. But if you're in that state at that age, then you have some splainin' to do, at least to yourself.

I agree with ultrageek- most of this advice is useful for people of every age- its a pity that most dont seem to follow it, or perhaps arnt in a position to follow it.

@ the kritz - I agree, it is a pity. For me, I didn't follow it from the beginning, and now I'm not in a position to follow all of them as much as I'd like - yet.

Also, I have a question for everyone...when I go to click on this thread, it says 6 comments (before this one), yet only 4 show up on the page. Anyone else have that problem?

Well, some of the tips are really great. It does not matter whether we are in 20s or 30s. We can simply follow the advice if they seems to be useful.

Well when I graduated College in 2004 EVERYONE, especially my mom, told me I NEED TO BUY A HOUSE. But thank god I found the housing bubble blog by Ben Jones. That guy saved my ass. I found out I wasn't the only one not drinking the kool aid that homes ONLY GO UP! And for the next couple years it will only be gold, silver, savings, and oil-etfs (yes I still believe in oil) for me.
